The Allen & Heath Xone:96 is a professional four-channel DJ mixer with the same audio design as the legendary Xone:92, but with brand new state-of-the-art digital connectivity and a precise analogue sound that only the Xone series can produce. This pro DJ mixer is ideal for club installations, home DJ setups, and mobile and travelling DJs. The Xone:96 is Allen & Heath's most advanced DJ mixer, re-engineered to deliver the iconic Xone sound in the most flexible format possible. The Xone:96 has the same intuitive interface as the Xone:92, but adds some extra controls for stereo return channels A and B, such as a 3-band parametric EQ and channel faders for smoothly dialling in your outboard effects processors, giving you even more power over your sound. The industry-standard Xone 4-band EQ is mounted on the four main stereo input channels, enabling you to precisely monitor high, mid, medium-mid, and low frequencies.

Dual 32-bit 24-channel USB soundcard

The Xone 96 mixer includes a dual 32-bit 24-channel USB soundcard with Traktor Scratch certification, allowing it to work seamlessly with Traktor DVS DJ setups. There are two separate USB ports, each with six stereo inputs and outputs, allowing for smooth DJ transitions and a wide variety of routing options, whereas the improved 96kHz/32-bit processor ensures the highest possible audio quality.

Dual Xone VCF filters

Dual Xone VCF filters with the classic Allen & Heath sonic signature are included in this high-end mixer, allowing you to take your performances to the next stage. High-pass, band-pass, and low-pass filtering options are available on both filters, as well as resonance and frequency sweep controls. A Crunch control, a strong harmonic distortion effect that is placed pre-filter in the circuit board, is brand new to the Xone filters, giving you a powerful new effect. In addition, each of the six channels can be routed to a filter in parallel or separately.

A plethora of networking options

A plethora of networking options are available on the back of the Xone 96. Line and phono RCA inputs for video players and turntables, as well as two stereo 14-inch TRS send connections, four stereo 14-inch TRS return connections, and a dedicated master insert, are available on the four main channels. Send One has a switchable line to Hi-Z level option, allowing you to easily integrate instrument effects processors like guitar pedals. A 5-pin MIDI connection lets you attach external MIDI equipment for live shows, while an X-Link connection lets you connect Xone:K DJ controllers to the mixer for hands-free control of your software. This means you can leave your device USB ports open for additional equipment, while an X-Link connection lets you connect Xone:K DJ controllers to the mixer for hands-free control of your software.

60mm linear VCA channel faders

Each of the four main channels has 60mm linear VCA channel faders that are perfectly balanced for a smooth output and precise control of your mixes. The crossfader features the industry-standard Innofader mini and fader cut adjustments for the sharpest cuts possible, making it ideal for scratching and juggling several channels of hot cues.

Dual headphone monitoring outputs

When paired with the dual soundcards, the dual headphone monitoring outputs enable you to efficiently perform back-to-back DJ sets as well as smooth DJ transitions. The dedicated booth performance with 3-band EQ helps you to perfectly monitor your music, ensuring that you always know what's going on in your mix.
