Performance pads

The DJM-S9 features 16 multi-colour performance pads allowing you to set and trigger hot cues, activate Roll, Slice, and Loop
You can also map other functions to the touch sensitive performance pads and select different colours for each effect
you have assigned.

Customisable FX buttons

The DJM-S9 features 6 customisable effect buttons which allow you to map Serato DJ effects available from the serato website as an expansion pack which will then offer up to 55 different effects.

The DJM-S9 also has six beat Fx effects (Echo, Back Spin, Flanger, Reverb, Vinyl Brake & Phaser) on the left hand side of the mixer.

You can andust the level and depth of the effects using the rotary know positioned in the middle of the mixer and can change the parameter using two tactile buttons.

Magvel Fader Pro

The Pioneer DJM-S9 is the ultimate battle mixer and features the Magvel Fader Pro crossfader.  This magnetic fader is designed for the ultimate durability and response.  With the Magvel fader pro, the DJ can change the operational load by using the Feeling Adjust rotary dial and alter the Curve and Reverse configuration of the fader.  The DJM-S9 is the first product in the Pioneer DJM mixer range to use this fader.

Filter FX

The Pioneer DJM-S9 Battle mixer features a high/low pass filter on each of the two channels.
By rotating the filter knob you can manipulate effects and is you are using Serato DJ software, the filter knob will allow you to switch to other filter FX like Dub Echo, Noise and Pitch.

Style levers

With the style levers you can quickly turn the effects on and off on the DJM-S9, this gives you the ability to be a little more creativein your mix by activating the effect briefly then switching it off.

2 Built-in soundcards

The Pioneer DJM-S9 features Two USB soundcards making it the ultimate plug-and-play Serato DJ mixer.
Having Two soundcards means that you are able to plug Two laptops into the DJM-S9 allowing DJ's to play back to back with their own collection of music and without the need of any sound drop out.  The DJM-S9 also features DVS support allowing you to control Serato DJ software with either CD players or turntables.
