The Pioneer DDJ-800 is a 2-channel Rekordbox DJ controller that comes with a compact, portable body that inherits the design layout from the DDJ-1000 alongside the same buttons, knobs, and faders as the club-standard NXS2 setup. The 800 comes with a compact build which is highly portable alongside a wealth of professional DJ controls for performing professional sounding mixes. The DDJ-800 features a compact body with newly developed on-jog displays that provide you with essential track information letting you perform fluidly and reference what you need when you need it. The high-resolution, full-colour LCD screens show you critical information such as BPM, key, playback position, and waveforms allowing you to stop staring at your computer. Cue Scope works to indicate distance in between bars from the current playback position to hot cues and loops points so you can mix quicker and more accurately than ever. You can decide whether to display full artwork on the on-jog displays letting you identify a track by looking at the wheel while a jog adjust dial lets you set the platter’s feel.

The two-channel controller gives you professional tools for mixing between your tracks. Each deck comes equipped with eight RGB backlit performance pads that come with various performance modes such as hot cue, pad fx, beat jump, sampler, and keyboard mode. The 100mm pitch fader offers tempo ranges of +/- 8, 10, 16% for smoothly matching BPMs and a master tempo button lets you instantly go back to a track’s original BPM. A quantise control ensures you perform in perfect sync with a track's beatgrid while manual looping controls give you the ability to loop as you please.

The DDJ 800 comes equipped with a mixer section that perfectly mirrors that of a DJM-NXS2 mixer and comes complete with two channels each fitted with a 3-band EQ alongside a dedicated Sound Colour FX control section with dub echo, pitch, noise, and a bipolar filter. The Beat FX section comes equipped with 14 Beat FX alongside a track selector, on/off control, level/depth control, and timing controls, as well as a small LCD screen that lets you instantly reference track's effect and timing. Further controls allow you to browse and load tracks directly from the mixer as well as mic level controls with a 2-band EQ. The dual microphone inputs feature a newly developed Feedback Reducer that ensures when you’re using a microphone, you will not experience any feedback.
