M-Audio has updated the Hammer 88 Pro to feature their brand-new Smart Chord and Smart Scale technology. These powerful tools will assist your production, so there are no more limits to your creativity, set your parameters and experience a seamless performance. Smart Chord allows the user to play full chords with a single key, making production more efficient and customising each key’s chord structure.

Smart Scale technology allows you to choose from 16 variations of scales to play only notes in the select scale. No longer will you make the mistake of playing ‘wrong’ notes or chords. Easily activate and deactivate this feature on the fly, so you can stay focused on producing, helping you become more efficient.

Next Generation Sound

With choices to utilise the feature in Latch mode or engaged temporarily, the Note Repeat feature creates a repeated rhythmic pattern in response to the selected note, allowing you to experiment with various production and live sound styles.

Change the time-division setting on your keyboard or the tempo setting in your DAW to find the best range for the on-board Arpeggiator's timing and rhythm. Control the time-division parameters to determine how long each note is played for.

Assignable Aftertouch has been added to the advanced custom key bed, allowing users to have more expressive control over their production and DAW. It allows you to alter the feel and dynamics of a production piece by scanning for variations in keypress pressure, changing the mood and emotion given by each note and key.
