Based on the classic Concorde range of cartridges, the new and improved Ortofon Concorde Scratch MKII DJ turntable cartridge has been recreated. As its name would suggest the cart is most suited to scratch, back-cueing and turntablism styles, and thus offers faultless scratch performance, is stable, has a high output and increased tracking.
The type of stylus is spherical, which increases the ability to trace the grooves of the records and tailored to ensure scratching is on point, which results in it being one of the best carts for 2018 and beyond.
The Concorde Scratch MK2 has a frequency range of 20-18,000Hz, with a tracking force of 4g and an output of 10mV. Due to solid bass reproduction and lengthened highs, this cartridge is suitable for any style. Also, thanks to the high output the Scratch it is perfect for music with a deep bass frequency.
