Although its 1" tweeters and 3" woofers are of great quality, the real strength of the Elevate 3 Mk2 Monitor Speaker lies in their ability to offer a clear and defined high-end frequency response. Because of its solid construction, the hardwood enclosure prevents high-frequency distortion.
The eliptical shape of the tweeter in the Elevate 3 Mk2s was purposefully created to improve the quality of the stereo picture produced by the speakers. The Alesis Elevate 3 Mk2 Studio Monitor Speakers are able to work with nearly any subwoofer thanks to their dedicated subwoofer output.
