DJs can use the Numark NS4FX to mix tracks, samples, loops, and other media from up to four DJ software decks at the same time, with total audio control over four different channels. On each of its four channels, the NS4FX boasts separate premium-quality volume faders, a 3-band EQ, and bigger high pass/low pass filter knobs. Furthermore, crossfader assignment switches on the front panel allow each channel to be assigned to either side A or side B of the crossfader, or to bypass the crossfader completely. This unrivalled adaptability is great for crafting unique Livestream mixes, exhilarating buildups in the club, and pre-planning numerous songs for future performances and events.

Scratching and mashups are a breeze with the high-quality, touch-sensitive jog wheels. The track position, bpm, pitch range, and time are all shown on a bright LED display in the centre of the Jog-wheels. The "Layer" button on each deck rapidly switches control between decks, making it easy to layer and mix up to four songs for increased creativity. Each deck has a dedicated loop section with multipliers where you can rapidly access and alter seamless loops to extend your mix or create unique transitions. The dynamic FX section has six quick-launch software effects that are triggered by the robust and exciting paddle toggle switches, giving your sets even more flavour and uniqueness. In the FX section, DJs have full hardware control over the wet/dry mix and beat division, enabling them to produce inventive performances.
