The newly designed V4 is the 4th generation in the KRK V-series and works to combine premium contemporary technology with KRK’s 30-years experience in innovative speaker design that has made them an industry-standard in studios across the globe. The V4 S4 is a two-way, full-range studio reference monitor that gives you a professional performance as well as the sonic accuracy you need for recording, mixing, and mastering.

The KRK V4 S4 comes equipped with a 4-inch lightweight custom-designed Kevlar woven low-frequency woofer alongside a 1-inch custom-designed Kevlar dome tweeter; these drivers give you a frequency response that ranges from 58 Hz – 19 kHz. Using Kevlar for both drivers’ means, you get exceptionally smooth mid-range definition with no colourisation as well as an accurate, tight high-end frequency response and a punchy low-end, all with a broad sweet spot and an impressive stereo image. The 85w Class D amplifier is custom built by KRK and features a bi-amped design that gives you a superior transient response as well as an excellent sound pressure level of up to 110dB.

KRK have custom-built the speakers enclosure which is made from highly-durable MDF and aluminium while the optimised front-facing bass reflex port design effectively eliminates boundary coupling allowing for flexibility when it comes to room positioning. The rear of the speaker features a digital signal processor that drives 49 different EQ presets that offer superior control over room/desk positioning and personal taste. The solid aluminium front baffle works with the integrated EVA foam padding to create a built-in stabiliser that reduces vibration transmission and improves transient responses as well as the stereo image.
