The Mackie CR4-X monitor speakers have been redesigned to feature a sleeker finish as well as better components that have been engineered to an outstanding new standard. The CR4-X creative reference speakers are ideal for bedroom DJs, multimedia content creators, vloggers, gamers and post-production editors. CR4's feature a 4-inch polypropylene-coated woofer that produces a clear bass-response and the mid-range is distinctly lacking any muddy frequency colouring to ensure quality, that is usually reserved for speakers in a much higher price bracket.
Featuring both a headphone output and auxiliary input the Mackie CR4-Xactive monitors give you the ability to plug your headphones directly into the front of the speakers to reference the sound of your mix in another source, whilst cancelling out the output from the speakers to allow for silent operation. The ability to play music through the CR4's through an auxiliary cable is another extremely useful feature whether for creating multi-media and checking your mix against a commercially recorded track or just to listen to your favourite songs with the natural responsive tonality intended.
