The Akai Fire is a dedicated MIDI controller for FL Studio and has been designed in collaboration with Image-Line to ensure tight integration and a seamless workflow that lets your creativity take hold. The Fire comes equipped with 64 velocity-sensitive performance pads that allow you to trigger MIDI and audio clips as well as play melodies and drum with an MPC-style layout making it an excellent tool for music production and performance. A dedicated browser function lets you navigate, audition, and load your audio samples directly into your project as well as open plug-ins and recall project files while an OLED display allows you easily navigate your way through your samples and plug-ins.

The plug’n’play integration ensures you’ll be creating patterns and building tracks within minutes using the 64 performance pads. A step sequencer function allows you to punch in drum patterns quickly and trigger samples and at the touch of a button you can instantly mute and solo channels as well as expand the grid, select new channels, and navigate your way through your project without needing to touch your computer mouse. Note mode lets you add melodies and harmonies to your tracks with three octaves of notes at your disposal so you can play any of your virtual instruments. Drum mode gives you an MPC-style 16 pad layout with seamless integration with FPC and SliceX making it an excellent tool for producers after a traditional beat-making experience. Performance mode lets you trigger MIDI and audio clips so you can remix and re-imagine your tracks on-the-fly and is perfect for live performers.
