The Komplete Kontrol A49 is an advanced, streamlined MIDI keyboard that comes equipped with semi-weighted custom designed keyed which features 49 keys alongside an ergonomic pitch wheel that gives you the ability to make pitch bends and a modulation wheel for dialing in modulation such as vibrato, filter sweeps, and delays. The smart play feature makes sure you will never be out of key when performing and producing tracks and offers over 100 scales and modes for you to choose from, once you have selected a set key or scale you can then map this scale to the white keys only, this ensures you will never hit a wrong note and go out of key. Using the smart play feature you can play chord progressions and arpeggios using only a single key, this allows you to perform complex chords and arpeggios that could not be played naturally and is an excellent feature for beginners and those who are not keyboard literate.
