Professional Mixing Features

The Alto Professional Live 802 is a professional 8-channel, 2-bus mixer with all of the features you'll need to make the ideal mix. The Live 802 meets the needs of virtually any live performance situation, thanks to various routing choices and a variety of onboard DSP tools. It has 5 balanced XLR inputs with switchable phantom power, 3-band EQs, two aux sends per channel for external effects and monitoring, and a 9-band graphic EQ for main or monitor outputs. Additional monitoring and mixing are possible thanks to a headphone jack with an independent volume control. For accurate, hands-on mixing, 60mm faders with LED metres give precise control and visual feedback. Live 802 is ready for every occasion thanks to its numerous connectivity possibilities.

Analog Compression & Superior Sound Quality

In a single package, the Live 802 provides high-fidelity sound and high-quality DSP tools. For unparalleled sound quality and a robust audio signal route, each microphone channel is equipped with a high-headroom ultra-low-noise DNATM microphone preamp. The increased headroom of the Live 802 results in cleaner mixes, a cleaner signal path, and louder, punchier music. Onboard analogue compression (channels 1-2) aids in the management of dynamics and the gelling of instruments for a more defined mix. The Live 802 guarantees that the whole dynamic range of your mix comes across with startling clarity thanks to its large headroom, immaculate sound, and built-in dynamic control.

USB Audio Interface

With a single USB connection, you may record your mix to a Mac or PC. Engineers, producers, and performers may use the Live 802's built-in USB connection to transfer two channels of 24-bit audio (Main Mix or Sub Mix 1/2) to a computer. Record live performances, band practises, theatre performances, speaking engagements, and any other live sound event into your computer for post-production editing, mixing, and editing. The USB connection is bi-directional, allowing you to stream and play sound files from your computer using Live 802.

100 High-Quality Alesis DSP Effects

With quality 24-bit Alesis effects integrated directly into its architecture, the Live 802 is equipped to tackle any mixing circumstance. Choose from a library of 100 DSP effects for more creative freedom in any mixing scenario. Room and space delays, small and big hall acoustics, plate and spring reverbs, flangers, choruses, and more are among the effects available. The effects presets make it simple to quickly dial in your favourite sound or try out other effect settings.

Colour-coded Interface

Live sound settings are frequently poorly lit, limiting the mixing engineer's sight. The Live 802 overcomes this problem by colour-coding each area of the mixer and offering vividly coloured knobs so you can find what you need to modify fast and simply. In low illumination, blue, green, red, yellow, and white pots are readily recognisable. LED indications for output level, peak, and phantom power also help to ensure that you have numerous visual signals that accurately represent what you're hearing.
